SEP History

The Seidler Company, LLC

Founded in 1992 by brothers Peter Seidler and Robert Seidler, The Seidler Company, LLC (“TSC”) is a closely held management investment firm and the predecessor to the Seidler Equity Partners funds. The firm’s third member, Eric Kutsenda, began working directly with TSC in 1995. From 1992 to 2000, TSC completed 25 investments and add-on acquisitions in a broad range of industries.

Seidler Equity Partners, L.P.

In 2000, the three principals of TSC established Seidler Equity Partners, L.P. (“SEP I”), an institutionally backed private equity fund. SEP I invested in five portfolio companies that completed four add-on acquisitions from 2000 to 2004 and is now fully invested.

Seidler Equity Partners II, L.P.

Our second institutional fund, Seidler Equity Partners II, L.P. (“SEP II”), held a final closing in early 2004. The SEP II portfolio currently consists of five platform investments with seven add-on acquisitions and is now fully invested.

Seidler Equity Partners III, L.P.

Seidler Equity Partners III, L.P. (“SEP III”) held a final close in 2006. SEP III has made several portfolio investments and is actively pursuing additional investment opportunities. The mission statement of SEP III, as with TSC, SEP I and SEP II, emphasizes long-term value appreciation for fund investors by aligning the growth incentives for our portfolio companies, their management, employees and shareholders.
